Terms of Use

These terms govern use of Pender County Court Docket, a privately operated reference resource. Official Pender case records remain with the North Carolina Judicial Branch and the Pender County Clerk of Superior Court.

No FCRA Use. This private website is not a consumer reporting agency. It may not be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another purpose regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

1. What This Website Is

This resource explains researched paths to official Pender County docket, calendar, case-search, and court-record services. It is not a court, a clerk’s office, or a government agency, and it does not keep the official record.

2. Informational Use Only

Content is general reference information. A public Case Summary, court calendar, statute link, or office contact must be confirmed with the originating Pender court or Clerk when accuracy matters. Nothing here replaces an official order or certified document.

3. Rules for Using This Site

Use the resource lawfully and do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit harmful content, or use its information in a way that violates another person’s rights or applicable law.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Pender County Court Docket does not create consumer reports and is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the FCRA. Court-access information and any third-party search feature must not be used for a credit, employment, housing, insurance, or tenant-screening decision.

5. No Legal Advice

Nothing published here offers legal advice, forms a lawyer-client relationship, or determines an individual case outcome, deadline, access right, or procedure. Seek qualified North Carolina legal advice when legal advice is needed.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Court dates, fees, Portal functions, contacts, and office practices can change. Information may be incomplete, delayed, or out of date. Confirm a Pender setting with Search Hearings, the court, or the Clerk, and obtain an official record from the custodian.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The site may link to official and third-party services. Each external provider controls its own content, policies, availability, fees, and practices. A third-party result does not replace the Pender Clerk’s file or the official North Carolina Portal.

8. Intellectual Property

Site text, graphics, code, and other original materials are protected by applicable law. No license is granted to reproduce, distribute, alter, or commercially use them beyond lawful personal use without permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the extent permitted by law, use of the resource is at the visitor’s own risk. The operator is not responsible for reliance on incomplete or changed information, third-party services, or decisions made without official Pender court or Clerk confirmation.

10. Indemnification

A visitor agrees to defend and hold the operator harmless from claims arising from that visitor’s unlawful use of the resource, breach of these terms, or violation of another person’s rights.

11. Governing Law

North Carolina law governs these terms, including the state judicial-record framework described in G.S. 7A-109. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in North Carolina.

12. Changes to These Terms

The operator may revise these terms as the resource or legal requirements change. Continued use after posting a revision signifies acceptance of the revised terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you look up a case or docket for me?

No. Use the official North Carolina Portal for public information or contact the Pender Clerk for case-file assistance.

Can you change or confirm my court date?

No. A court controls its setting. Use Search Hearings and confirm uncertainty with the Pender Clerk or court staff.

Is a docket entry on a linked tool official?

A public Portal view can be useful, but it is not a certified copy. Ask the Clerk for an official certified document.

Where do I ask a question about these terms?

Use the site operator’s available contact channel for a terms question. Do not use it for a court-file request or legal advice.
